He is angry with the mother, angry with himself and confused about what to do.
Amanda thinks she loves Toby (that is debatable) -- clearly she cares for him. When she starts to torment him (and she is single-minded and pretty ruthless), she makes their bad situation even more tangled and dysfunctional. She's reaching out the only way her teenage brain knows how. It's not pretty. Hormones are a harsh master.
Toby cares for Amanda. He knows she is alone. But she does not make his life easy. On top of all that's going on, he cannot read her signals. (They are mixed -- she challenges him, insults him and then pleads with him.)
These two characters need appreciation and affection. Will they find it with each other? The author writes well enough that you care what happens. Read it and see.

Too long lead up, and by the time things heat up its very poorly written. A waste of time and money.

actually this is a new author for me & i really l like her books. she's a fun read & similar to gia blue.
This author is great, I love how she writes the build up to the sex, making you anticipate it as much as the characters. Then she delivers great sex scenes! She's one of my favorites
This is a short, but steamy book. The anticipation between Amanda and Toby is intense and when they get together it amazing. Great read!
pretty much like you expect the book to be. Way to short wish it could of been drawn out a bit more, but if looking for a quick read waiting on a train...enjoy
This is one of the best older/younger stories I've read. Loved how author illustrated man's overwhelming desire for the girl. Calling out her name when he was with mom was very erotic. I think some writers need to even things up, have wife as 'wanted' as the young girl takes much of the sizzle out of the story.
